Treatment
Treatment from an osteopath involves a combination of hands-on treatment techniques.
The first session is usually a bit longer (approximately 60 min) and starts with a complete medical history, medical and osteopathic tests, followed by the actual treatment.
What should I bring?
If you have any relevant scans or tests (e.g. X-ray or MRI) bring them along, as well as your instrument, these can be useful in treating your injury/condition. Otherwise, you only need to bring yourself!
Fees
An osteopathic treatment costs between 90 and 100 euros.
If you have to cancel your appointment, I would be most thankful if you could do it at least 24 hours before the session, otherwise I will have to bill you for the missed appointment.
Does my insurance cover osteopathy?
Every insurance has a different policy regarding osteopathy but most of them cover the costs at least partially. Most of them ask for a prescription from your doctor for the refund.
